Common questions

Questions we get before a first order.

Ordering, delivery, how things arrive, and where our limits are. If your question is not here, ask us.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Add what you need to your cart on the shop page, then go to checkout. Enter your delivery address, review your total — products, tax and the $9.99 courier fee — and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You will get a confirmation email with a receipt.

Do you have a minimum order?

No. Order a single vial if that is all you need. Shipping is a flat fee per order either way.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us straight away. If your order has not yet gone to the courier we can usually cancel it and refund you in full. Once it is with the courier, all sales are final.

What payment methods do you take?

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, all processed by Square. Card details go directly into Square's secure form — we never see or store your full card number.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver by local courier to 20 eligible ZIP codes across 11 Horry County communities, including post office boxes. Checkout confirms your address is eligible before taking any payment.

How long does delivery take?

We hand your order to our courier within 24 hours of payment, and it arrives within 72 hours of your order.

How much is shipping?

$9.99 per order, charged once no matter how many items you order. Sales tax applies to products only — the courier fee is not taxed.

What if my address is outside your delivery area?

Checkout will tell you before you pay. Get in touch and we will let you know what we can do.

Products

What form do products arrive in?

Every item ships as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder in a sealed vial, with one exception: Bacteriostatic Water, which is a sterile liquid.

Do you provide a certificate of analysis?

Ask us about documentation for any catalog item and we will tell you what exists for it. Our guide to reading a certificate of analysis explains what a vendor COA can and cannot tell you, and why independent testing matters when you need results you can rely on.

Can you get something that is not listed?

Sometimes. Send us the compound and amount you are after and we will tell you whether we can source it.

How should I store what I receive?

Follow the storage procedure that applies where you work. Our guide to storing lyophilized research material covers what the documentation generally says about storage conditions and record-keeping, without giving direction for any particular material.

Research use

What does “research use only” actually mean?

Everything we sell is for laboratory research, analytical testing and educational use by qualified professionals. Our products are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices. They have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. They are not for human or veterinary use.

Can you tell me how much to use, or how to use it?

No. We cannot give medical, clinical, dosing, administration or personal-use guidance of any kind. We can tell you what is in the catalog, what it costs, what documentation exists and when it will arrive.

Who can buy from you?

You must be at least 21 and buying for legitimate research purposes. At checkout you confirm your order is for scientific and research use only.
